Sapsuk Lodge – Fishing Guide
Aleutian Adventures is accepting applications for the position of Fishing Guide at the Aleutian Rivers Angling (ARA) Camp, which is located 16 miles south of Nelson Lagoon. The ARA Camp is in a remote location which has limited access to outside communication and has no access to any nearby village or city. The Camp attracts fishermen from around the world for the great adventure the Aleutians have to offer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The fishing guide is responsible for leading clients to unique opportunities for seasonal sport-fishing. The fishing guide is the primary point of contact for clients, while on-site.
Pay is DOE. Room and board are included along with transportation to and from the ARA Camp.
The fishing guide must be up to date on all required licensing and permits and must be able to pass a post-employment physical and screening. This position will start on or around May 28, ending on or around the end of October. Breaks in service will be given in-between seasons and in accordance with scheduling of clientele.
